A display of Ceramics by Robert Long, Michelle Neumann, and Dylan Karges will be on exhibit at the Starkville Public Library from Friday, April 24 to mid-May. Functional and non-functional/sculptural work will include pottery by Michelle Neumann and examples of the Cotton District Old Cotton Mill 5K Run first-third place trophies of the last few years by Robert Long. Large ceramic vessels by Long and slab-built ceramic sculpture and figurines by Dylan Karges will provide examples of the variety of possibilities of the medium of clay.

This exhibit will be on display during the Arts Walk as the Library seeks exciting and educational opportunites for exhibits. Both Robert Long and Dylan Karges will be on hand the morning of the Arts Walk kick-off for pottery throwing demonstrations for almost all ages.

The library has several display cases in which local artists and events are showcased. The display changes monthly.
